Ohio...please move forward so I can do my job

As a Certified Natural Health Professional who specializes in the medicinal use of Western herbs, people come to me with a variety of health issues.  I help them all to the best of my ability.  Sometimes that means referring them to another Holistic practitioner who specializes in exactly what that person needs and sometimes it means I need to call the local herb shop and order a formula for them.  It is a rewarding job and I love it.

Although, there are days like yesterday which leave me frustrated because there are laws which prevent me from doing my job to the best of my ability.  A lady called me for some guidance.  She is a recovering addict yet is very stable.  She is a wife, mother, business owner, and all around beautiful person.  Her busy life makes it hard for her to slow down at the end of the day and get proper rest.  I have known her for many, many years so I know she is a 'light-weight.'  One or two puffs of Cannabis per night is all she really needs to help her keep herself in balance.  Unfortunately, we live in a state where medical Marijuana is not legal.

I long for the day when it is safe, legal, and socially acceptable for me to refer my clients to their local dispensary to get the medicine they need.
