I hear ya, news reports can be slanted. But just because they report negative effects doesn't mean it's entirely incorrect. For example, based on personal experience, (from decades ago), I believe marijuana can cause schizophrenia, even if it's only temporary. That's one reason I've stayed away from it since.

Btw, the context of "brain damage" was that pot has the EFFECT of TEMPORARY brain damage. My take was that the article didn't actually say smoking pot caused brain damage.
